An out of nowhere meet-up, with two of my favorite people and forever group mates in our four years stay in college; Kars and Issa. ♡
Since it is Friday, why not eat and be thankful for this spontaneous dine-out? TGIF indeed!
Reunited! It has been a while since these two last saw each other. Ayiiii.. Hahaha!
Super happy to hang with her again! I consider her as my little sister, who apparently wears more make-up and dresses sexier than I do. ;)) Stay gorgeous sis!
PS: I need to learn fixing myself more. I look too nene whenever I’m beside my friends! XD
Fried mac and cheese
TGIF’s food didn’t really amaze me, everything I ate here (even before) were all usual, except for their huge servings of dessert. Yay! I got one more added to my list where to get sugar high!
A night full of laughters, food, reminiscing and pure friendship with endless topics to laugh more about.
Note: This is the best way to beat rush hour on a weekend. Catch up with friends, have a good time, until the terrible traffic subsides. Yes? :))
Thank God it’s Fridate! Yay!
Meet my wacky buddies; Lance, Mac, me, Leigh and her boyfie Danne.
Mac and me with huge grins as Lance speaks out loud that he’ll pose as a passerby. :))
This was the first time I saw these crazy friends of mine since I got back from Tokyo early this month. Good times!
Lovelite. Ang takbuhan pag may tawag ng sikmura nung kolehiyo.
Kars' usual order, footlong with rice!
Former Colayco Park, now called as Quadricentennial Park. I MISS.
Random fact: My visit won’t be complete without eating dirty ice cream! :p (photo taken by: Kars Cabalda)
Been to UST (my alma mater) and Dapitan earlier today; a perfect post for #sentisabado :)
Edogawa-Ku Summer 2010.
An annual thing here at Tokyo. It’s always a pleasure to see and shoot my real life pixie dust. :)
PS: Favorite shots coming up! Yay! And please do lemme see your shots of fireworks too! I’d love to see them, thanks!! :D
This is one of my most memorable runs, and I never get to blog about it, and since I’m really REALLY missing running outdoors (blaming the rainy season), I thought of sharing to you guys my experience for this event.
Night before this run I was out to cover the Penshoppe Elevation event for Philippine Fashion Week 2010. I kept on chanting to myself and to my friends that I should be home by 12am, but I ended up on bed by 2 in the morning with brain still wide awake.
I decided to stop fooling myself into getting some sleep by 3:30am; I got up prepared my singlet and pinned my bib, did some stretchings and took a dosage of caffeine. I have no idea how am I be able to finish a 10-kilometer run with no sleep and aching feet from wearing heels.
Then Kars came and we both were running late, and we were! The gun start for our category started 5 minutes ago, and people told us to go straight ahead and not wait anymore for 5k’s gun start. ⎯ What we did? We dove into a huge crowd, running through it and kept on saying “sorry”, “excuse po" and "late na kami”. Through this incident we coincidentally saw our Mommy from our college organization, we call Inay Lhen. Yay! This also became one intense warm-up for us. And so the running for 10k begun..
The sun was up early, a clear indication that summer has arrived. I was easily distracted by the heat and easily annoyed since I easily got tired. My body was telling me that I was not conditioned to run. Luckily I got company to motivate me. Oh yeah plus the free 100 Plus drinks were a great help too! :D
We ran into few friends, Martin and Mia. - All ran for 10k. We should just ran altogether, right? :)) Next time!!!

Lolz at my face on sight of finish line!! :)) (Photo from: Photovendo)
On the last 3 kilometers I started feeling something’s wrong with my feet, I was so focused on finishing already but everytime I pushed myself to run faster my feet hurt, like there’s a wound kind of hurt, so I just kept myself distracted with a cold sponge and laughing everything off. Then next thing we knew were on the last turn and few hundred steps before the finish line.
You know that feeling your knees are like jello and your body’s about to shut down any second? That’s how I felt while nearing the finish. - I have no idea though why I have that look, endorphins I think. XD Huzaaah!
(Photo form Mia Imperial) Yeah that’s me and Martin photo bombing, behind Mia and Kars! XD That’s us four after run! Congrats to us guys! :D
Hail the mind over matter motto!!! It’s a miracle I finished 10k still standing up, no leg cramps though I felt like beaten up. Definitely this was the hardest run I did, lesson learned.
Thanks Papa God for letting us finish safely, it’s for You! :D Another fun run this was. Yay!
