I’m on hiatus for almost a month now, and to be honest I resist to let anyone know where exactly I am on the right exact time — feeling artista issues haha!
And now I want to share one of the little escapes I did, this time with my family. ♡
We decided to go on a private island, and it’s funny that we are the only Filipinos on it
except the staff. Another thing, our mobile phones on dead spot inward the island. Thus our reason to sunbathe at shore while checking mails.
It’s working while on r&r ;)
Just a few more feet and turns of this, then it would feel like the maze in Alice in Wonderland :D
I am a fan of finger combing my hair, or should I say not combing at all. I have been complaining about my hair about being too flat since forever.
Thus, I’m claiming this as “beach hair” which makes it acceptable. :|
With momma at the pool on mid-top of a mountain.
And this is the view we indulge ourselves with.
These are the two sights that greeted me the following morning. I can get used to this!
And I being a lover of sun and beach, just gets over bathing under it not until the sun sets.
Note: Sunblock application is important. Do not ever forget to reapply, to avoid sunburn. — But just that right sun-kissed tan.
I did not tag along my dslr with me. I made sure to focus on detaching as much as I can from my urban life, and everything else that’re heavy physically and emotionally.
It was a retreat focused on myself, surrounded by pure beauty and with the people who love me unconditionally. Just what I needed and always wanted. :)
So understand the not so detailed photos taken from my phone and my sister’s EOS-M.
And I made sure to have an outfit post too! :p
I look like a garden salad!!! @-))
And that’s me protecting my legs and arms from getting any more sun. Too much of anything is often bad.

Hype this look here. :)
This year’s been too fast.. for me at least. Too many things happened and changed, for one our family has experienced a loss. And as we are mostly separated living our own lives from different countries for the rest of the year. This holiday season I promised myself to give my love ones undivided attention.
So while everyone is settling down from the Christmas rush, I’ll share to you a portion on how me and my family spent ours.
We decided to keep it simple, intimate, convenient, and of course with overflowing sumptuous food. ;)
After checking in with our empty tummies, we decided to warm up for the eve’s dinner bonanza! :p
Best. Tapa. Ever. Need I say more?
Fast forward to after 5 hours.. :))
Me and my sister doing wardrobe check for Christmas Eve dinner. ;)
PS: Super thank you Shangri-La, Makati for taking care of us! :)
And more vanity shots coming up! @-))
Me and my ever-looking-young mother.
[on me: Forever21 sheer polka cover and dress and Aldo heels]
And people always thought the three of us are sisters! Hmmm.. question is, who do they think is the youngest?
And with few minutes before the clock strikes to midnight, the four of us headed back to our room for more chaotic bonding and virtual X’mas greetings :))
[on me: Zara knitted top and bag, Uniqlo pants, Mango aviators and boots] - Hype this look here.
Oh the convenience of being in nearby shopping areas! Got to do a little shopping as soon as the malls open and before people swamp in for the viewing of MMFF. ;)
Gotta love the miniature filter of Canon EOS-M!
With my aunt and cousins arrival.. we ate some more! :@)
So we just took a photo of our feet instead of our faces :)) /labo
And to conclude this post: Happy holidays from my love ones to yours! May you all be surrounded with warmth, love and happiness wherever part you are in the world! :)
"Family, the only thing that’s permanent in the world."
A-not-too-late holiday greeting from my lovely family :)
Enjoy every minute of it with the people matter to you the most! ☃
Dinner at Johnny Chow!, RW Manila.
[Food from Johnny Chow! (yes I do include the exclamation point as I am shouting its name in my mind. lol); Xanadu and Red Velvet cakes from UCC Cafe]
Just thought of sharing how my Sunday was. :)
PS: Hello guise! I cannot wait for the weekend again! :))
I was last Saturday’s absentee from our family lunch-out. I wonder why? ;)
At Metro Tokyo Eki.
We were catching the first train out, so the known busiest station at Tokyo didn’t cause any trouble.
Lunch, omurice bento.
Three hour shinkansen (bullet train) ride from Tokyo Central Station to Shin-Osaka.
Final train transfer. Railway leading to Universal City.
Spiderman Ride ● Requires every passenger to wear 3d specs. One cool ride this is!
Jurassic Park ● Equivalent to Splash Mountain of Disneyland.
After riding Jaws.
Hollywood Dream coaster ● We failed to ride this one, as we were under a 36 degree Centigrade temperature and we have no plans getting darker as we already got.
Snoppy’s Studio ● Kids’ place; equivalent to Ariel’s place at Disneysea.
Land of Oz ● Where Wicked is also being shown.
View from the top.
An outtake from last night’s dinner. :)
Remember my cousin Riyuji? That’s him today. He got tall and really talkative! :)) While we were at the park, he showed me off the bugs he caught this afternoon.
