There can never be any perfect timing wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt when your destination is Disneyland! Well, in my case Disney Sea — the part of the theme park I prefer, attraction wise. I memorized the whole park like a map is drawn at the back of my palm!

Bring me to Tokyo Disneyland and it’ll take me a while to remember, but still map-schmap, who needs it! :))

Disney Sea was made for everyone’s favorite mermaid, Ariel. Part of this park also includes pretty much the characters/movies related to water, with Arabian Coast/Agrabah, Indiana Jones and Toy Story put in between. Sounds confusing but it was well-connected that it actually made sense once you’re there.

In case you’ll be visiting Disney Sea, here are the attractions worth queuing for:

  • Journey to the Center of the Earth - Pretty much why the volcano was built. The idea is once the volcano erupts, there goes the coaster you are on!
  • Ranging Spirits - Another roller coaster with a loop. Lockers are available to have your Mickey merchandise placed and secured.
  • Tower of Terror - My ultimate fave! An elevator ride that will drop you 4 storeys high. (self-confessed heights junkie here!)

Attractions at Disney Sea are more for the taste of adults, and so as their menu! Alcohol is being served at their restaurants.

Oh and if you notice that bear in a backpack, that’s Shellie Mae (paired to Duffy). I nearly curse those bears as they are the reason of endless queues outside the store of Uncle Scrooge. I tell you it’s bananas!!! I remember four years ago, it was only me who appreciates Duffy and I can take photos with every mascot I see.. Oh what awesome marketing can do! Duffy and Shellie Mae are more popular than Donald and Daisy now! D: #ilovedaisy

PS: Watch out for the Disney Villains at the final show! The projections are insanely beautiful!!! And Mickey speaks Nihongo. :)))

[On me: Zip up flank jacket from Love Army; Mickey shirt from Bershka; beaning from Ever New; skirt from Lowry’s Farm; leggings from CK; bag from Zara and shoes from H&M]

PPS: Those H&M spring boots is perfect for long walks! <3

My newly discovered Japanese brand, MURUA.

Just look at the first photo, I can select most of it in just one look! I am all too giddy since their recent s/s collection mostly features black and whites and borders with light materials which makes all so perfect to my liking and Manila’s way-beyond-body-temperature!

And who would not love those shoes and circle lensed shades? Every piece stands for a statement. The only thing is Murua’s size is structured to Japanese girls’ frames, and I am lucky enough to fit into it and not really cause my feet are too huge for their shoes. </3

Here’s my look featuring a Murua border pullover.

Tokyo in my backdrop, Part 1.

Here’s two of my outfit photos from my recent trip in Tokyo.

I am currently waiting for boarding  back to my crazy working life which means, no more time to blog. Spare the short post — as if I’ve always been wordy here.

More details of what I am wearing are captioned on each photo.

What hair and shoes can do.

Here’s what I do whenever my work requires me to attend meetings and do legwork afterwards. I might have the capacity to wear heels all day long, but I admit wearing flats feels like home!

Tip: Keep you face neat, it will make you look fresh all day long. Plus who knows the perks you can get flaunting your pretty face? ;)

Permission to talk about some of the styles I go by? Here’s a list inspired from my most recent hypes at

  •  Lazy Cozy

That type of look “I just grabbed whatever in my or someone else’s closet”, yet it looks well put-up. Oversized tops and blazers are definitely my go-tos whenever my day will require tons of field work, or whenever I get random meet-ups ‘round my busy neighborhood from friends. That’s prioritizing comfort without compromising style.

[looks from Maha of Germany & Yuzi of California]

  •  Engineered Coat

Definitely in search for this! It can give anyone’s look that “crisp” needs. This is perfect to cover ones too casual look and still give you that boost of confidence for emergency meetings.

[looks from Katerina of Istanbul & Lisa of NY]

  • Pop in Black

Adding a color or a print from your all-black outfit can make the world a happier place! Lol. Kidding aside, it bends the mood black emanates and shows off the playful & more accommodating side of yourself too!

[looks from Astrid of Austria & Anastasia of Paris]

  • Perfectly Puffy

Ah, as someone who has background in ballet tutus and ballerina flats never fails to catch my sight! Puffy skirts are flirty, fun, yet adds poise to wear. On full-length skirts, it gives that fluid flow you can actually feel yourself making glissades while crossing the street. — Skirts as such definitely lacks my wardrobe! Gah!

[looks from Magdalena of Poland & Louise of Paris]

Hope I was able to inspire you plan your outfit, if not for tomorrow hopefully the day after that!

[neckpiece from Aldo; top from Mango; bag and earrings from Chanel; skort from Stradivarius and shoes from e•pse]

Dressing up for holidays is one of my favorite things to do! For our New Year’s Eve dinner, I decided to go with a black, white and gold palette.

I’m avoiding to be too dressy so it’ll be effortless going back and forth from our table to Spiral’s endless buffet table. Yes, dressing up strategically is important! Especially if I will be eating that’s equivalent to a whole year supply! /kidding!

It wouldn’t hurt to wear something loose for a top (to give way for my bulging tummy after pigging out), paired it with shorts and heels to flaunt my legs.

What I especially love about my skort from Stradivarius is its intricate print and detail, making my look festive and classy. With this pair, it made me not wear too much accessories. All I had to add is a beautiful neckpiece from Aldo with my plain Mango top, and sealing everything with a classic Chanel bag.

Classy, simple, festive and chic!

This is my final look post, may my efforts posting here all throughout 2013, sensible or not helped even a single soul to dress a little bit better, or inspired you even a single day to decide on what you should wear.

Oh, and did you like my new hair color? ;)

[peterpan collared top worn underneath from Topshop; pullover from Pull & Bear; bag from Louis Vuitton; skater skirt from Cotton On and blutcher shoes from Zara]

Look’s who’s feeling preppy! ;) Since a part of me is missing going back to school plus the fact of denying I’m a year older.. I say, why not!

I am currently in a phase of my work in nearly closing our books for the year.. YAY! But kidding aside, my more formal clothes are plotted for weekends.. so I consider weekdays as my weekends, hence the comfy outfits. Am I even making sense? - And as if I am posting anything “office appropriate” here, bleh!

Lemme see if I can share less of my “casual” outfits and more of my “serious” ones. We’ll see, we’ll see… Until then!
