Jorx is twenty-something. A graduate major in Communication Arts with Bachelor of Arts from University of Sto. Tomas. Previous account executive and marketing assistant from an ad agency, turned English teacher for children, turned blogger slash photographer slash stylist slash director slash stage actress slash runner and currently an external administrator/marketing executive for a theater company.
Theater is something she has done since she’s in kindergarten, and carrying through up to present with every chance she gets. With her passion, she moved up a notch by becoming a director. And with the recent project she finished was, directing a musical play for her college organization Mamma Mia! as Mediartrix’ 400th year offer for the Quaddricentennial Celebration of UST last February, 2011. She has also directed fashion shows for Coco Cabana and Blanc Noir by SM Dept. Store last April of 2011.
Her love for photography was cradled in her senior year in college, acquired as a hobby and combined with her love for clothes thus lands her as well into self-photography. Her favorite subject would be landscapes. She is now one of the bloggers to promote Redhead by SM Dept. Store and its model search.
Running is her most recent discovery. Started in 2009, she has joined seven runs for that year alone. Her longest run in distance would be 16.8 kilometers with Adidas King of the Road 2011, earlier this year.
She’s currently enjoying blogging, equipped with her original identity and carrying her self-grown skills on her sleeve. And working with the industry she first loves.
In a course of over a year of working as an Administrator for External Affairs for Atlantis Productions, she has worked with Tony Award Winners Lin Manuel Miranda of In the Heights and Lea Salonga of God of Carnage with Singapore’s huge actor Adrian Pang. Adding to that is Tony Award Winner for scenic design, David Galo for Nine. Also worked buddies with Rockstar INX’s finalist, MiG Ayesa for 2012’s sold out hit Rock of Ages.. and so the list goes.
She is dreaming of traveling for a living, someday. And she is closer to it every single day.
